We arrived in Hong Kong on Thursday evening to spend a couple of days prior to boarding the Seabourn Quest on Saturday.

We spent today, Friday, walking to the ferry terminal on Hong Kong Island and catching the ferry to Kowloon and browsing in the shops there.

We had a Dim Sum lunch in Kowloon in a restaurant with views of Hong Kong Island across the harbour. We were given a multi choice menu with boxes to be ticked, so we ticked quite a few – we didn’t fully appreciate how much food that would result in! It was a magnificent lunch but we were very replete by the end of it… just as well we did a lot of walking today!

On the ferry trip back to Hong Kong Island I took a couple of photos which can be seen at Smugmug.  One that I particularly like is of a Tall Ship passing by a modern cruise liner docked at Ocean Terminal – which incidentally is where we board the Quest tomorrow.
