St Helier and La Rochelle

St Helier, Jersey

We visited St Helier in Jersey.  Jersey was occupied by the Germans during the second world war, along with the other Channel Islands.

We had to anchor quite a way offshore and tender in which took around 30 minutes each way.  While in St Helier we took a bus tour of some of the sights and visited the underground tunnels of the German Occupation

La Rochelle, France

La Rochelle is a French port with a beautiful historic old town.  We tendered ashore and caught a shuttle bus for a 20 minute ride into the old town area.
