In Gijon we docked in the port and had a 20 minute shuttle bus ride into town.

We left the ship at 10am and as it was Saturday, there was little traffic and few people.  We wandered around the old part of town admired the view and caught the shuttle back to the ship.

The marina was the most picturesque part of our visit but there were some interesting old buildings and fortifications too.
