Caravan
Our first adventure in 2012 was a three month caravan trip to South Australia where we slowly travelled along the coast of the Eyre and Yorke Peninsulas, spent some time in the Flinders Ranges, a week in Adelaide visiting Sue’s sister and then up to Broken Hill and Cobar in Northern NSW and then home.
The caravan has an air conditioner, queen size bed, ensuite toilet and shower, washing machine, and fully equipped kitchen including microwave, oven and griller. Camping – but only just!
It is very comfortable but is strictly a caravan for two people. If you want to entertain, it has to be outside but that is not a problem as we are normally only camp in warm places!
We love travelling in the outback – the pace of life is very comfortable, we are always meeting interesting people and there is a strong camaraderie with other caravanners. There is always something to see and the night skies are stunning.
You also get to see spectacular sunsets.
