Bodrum, 26 April
We spent a day in Bodrum Turkey. There was a very big bicycle race happening in town so the shuttle bus that was meant to run from the ship to the town centre couldn’t operate. In its place, a ferry service was set up from the ship to the castle at the other end of the town, which was most fortuitous as the castle was the main attraction that we wanted to visit.
Next to the castle is a marina with many yachts.
After spending time exploring the castle we strolled through the streets into the town centre to browse through the shops
and then caught up with some friends and had lunch together in an al fresco cafe.
After a bit more browsing in the shops admiring the “Genuine Fake” watches and handbags that proliferate throughout the area, we headed back to the ship.
Later, after sunset I took some more photos of the castle lit up with floodlights.

Hey guys, was wondering how you were both going!! Looks like you are having a ball. Jimbo are you ok?? In that lunch photo, it looks like you had two black eyes!!! Gee I would love to visit Israel after seeing your photos…Can’t wait to catch up with you both!! Lotsaluv always.xxx
