The final stage of our cruise was on Seabourn Spirit, sister ship to Seabourn Legend. We had the same cabin number so knew exactly where everything had to be unpacked to.
Despite not having a change of clothes, we did manage to see some of Venice while we were there, although we had been there several times over the last couple of years.
Our hotel was excellent and in a great location. It was close to a small square that had a couple of restaurants that served excellent food at reasonable prices.
When it came time to board the ship, we were close enough that we were able to walk our bags to the terminal.
Koper
Koper, Slovenia was a quaint town where we walked around for a while and spent some time people watching while relaxing at an outdoor cafe.
Sibenik
On our way into the port of Sibenik inCroatia, we passed the harbour fortifications of St Nicholas Fortress, built in the 16th Century.

We did a tour to Krka National Park, which is very picturesque.
Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik is a beautiful old town which is suffering from tourist overload. We have been there three times over the past couple of years and each time it gets busier; possibly Dubrovnik being the set of Game of Thrones contributes to its attractiveness. This time there were so many people in the town that it was difficult to move in many areas.

Sue’s Birthday
The Raison D’etre for this cruise was to celebrate Sue’s 60th birthday, which was on October 25th. The chef was going to prepare a menu that Sue had designed but that night was the Chefs Dinner which is a special affair in its own right, so we elected to have the Chefs Dinner menu and the chef prepared our special menu the next night, which extended the birthday celebrations over two days.
When we got back to our suite, our stewardess had decorated the room.
Syracuse
Syracuse is a beautiful town in Sicily. We walked around the town for a few hours, then stopped to have lunch in an outdoor cafe.
From Syracuse we revisited ports that we had visited a few weeks earlier on Seabourn Legend and ended up in Barcelona. After a night in Barcelona, we flew back to Australia via Singapore although we didn’t stopover there.
