We flew from Canberra to Melbourne to pick up our 14 hour flight to Dubai. We chose Melbourne for our jump off point because the transfer from domestic to international is much simpler than in Sydney.

We checked out the in flight dining options. The menu was full of very tempting and substantial offerings but as it was late we opted for something light.

After a few hours sleep we checked out breakfast. Similarly superb.
