Spetses

Another Greek island today. Traditional blue and white everywhere. Very few cars but teeming with motor scooters darting everywhere. Horse and carts were available for tourist travel.

Anchored off shore and tendered into the centre of town.

A lot of mosaic work done by laying flat stones vertically. Makes it an interesting sensation to walk on and probably more so if in bare feet.

  1. We haven’t really been to the Greek Islands, except Crete, and it doesn’t have – at the least the section we saw – that traditional Greek island look. Probably because it isn’t quite one of the traditional Greek islands.

Anyhow, this is gorgeous. I love the red highlights on that building early in you series of pics.

(Have you noticed I’m trying to catch up on your posts in the correct order this time? I want a gold star!)
