European Vacation 2014

Our next adventure is a cruise around the coast of Europe to celebrate Sue’s significant birthday.  We are taking the opportunity to sail on one of Seabourn’s small ships, the Seabourn Legend, before it transitions to new owners.  The Legend has only 104 suites so it should be a very intimate experience.  We have sailed a lot with Seabourn on their larger, 225 suite, ships and wanted to see why everyone raves about the “little sisters”.  As can be seen below, it isn’t anything like some of the mega cruise ships!

We start in London, sailing from next to the Tower of London, along the Thames and across to France.  We then follow the coastline through to Spain and Portugal and enter the Mediterranean where we visit many places, including transiting the Corinth Canal and having an overnight stay in Istanbul.  Once we reach Athens, we fly to Venice and spend three nights there, where we meet up with some friends and then we all board the Seabourn Spirit, another of the “little sisters” for a 12 day cruise to Barcelona.London-MonteCarlo MonteCarlo-Athens Venice-Barcelona
